sù shuāng mǐ shuāi cǎo zhòu yǔ xǐ hán kōng. dāo gōng dòu lì zēng jìn wàn mǎ zhòu xī fēng. xì kàn wài wéi hé zhèn hū biàn héng xié qū zhí miào zài zhǐ huī zhōng. hào lìng sù zhū jiàng tán xiào tīng yuán róng.

zuò zhōng kè xiū xiào wǒ yǐ shuāi wēng. shí nián chóng dào jīn rì cǐ huì yǔ shuí tóng. chā bǎ lóng zhōng hè fà lái duì hǔ tóu yàn hàn nián shào zǒng yīng xióng. fēi zú luò jīn wǎn hān zuì xī cháng hóng.

Translation:

The frost solemnly covers the withered grass sudden rain washes the cold sky. The power of swords and bows intensifies as ten thousand horses gallop with the west wind. Observing closely the formation on the periphery it suddenly changes from horizontal to diagonal from curved to straight the brilliance lies in the commander's orders. The generals are summoned with solemn commands and they listen to the laughter of the military.

As a guest sitting in the middle please don't laugh at me an old man in decline. After ten years I return to this gathering but who is here with me today? Holding the dragon bell and having white hair like a crane I come face to face with the tiger-headed and swallow-chinned the heroes of the younger generation. The flying spear falls into the golden bowl intoxicated I inhale the long rainbow.
