昨夜读《三国志》不禁笑，
Last night, reading "The Record of Three Kingdoms", I couldn't help but laugh,
曹操孙权刘备，用尽权谋机巧，
Cao Cao, Sun Quan, and Liu Bei, using all their political acumen,
只落得三分天下，
Yet only managing to gain one-third of the world.
仔细一想，与其这样，
Upon further reflection, instead of this,
还不如象刘伶，
it's better to be like Liu Ling,
喝他个酩酊大醉。
getting drunk beyond comprehension.
人活在世界上有多少人能活到百岁。
How many people can live to be a hundred years old in this world?
少年时癫狂无知，
In youth, wild and ignorant,
老了又瘦弱焦悴。
In old age, thin and weak.
只有中间那，
Only in that middle period,
一段年轻，
a period of youth,
怎忍心用来追求功名利禄。
how can we bear to use it to pursue fame and fortune?
就算是官位一品，富贵百万，
Even if one has an official position and immense wealth,
试问谁能躲过老冉冉将至。
who can escape the approach of old age?
诗文： 昨夜因看蜀志，笑曹操孙权刘备。用尽机关，徒劳心力，只得三分天地。屈指细寻思，争如共、刘伶一醉？
人世都无百岁。少痴騃、老成尪悴。只有中间，些子少年，忍把浮名牵系？一品与千金，问白发、如何回避？
