Zhèng Yuánhé dānchū yǒu jiā yuán.
Zheng Yuanhe had a family fate in the beginning.

骑骏马，来过粉墙边。
Qí jùn mǎ lái guò fěn qiáng biān.
Riding a spirited horse he came to the side of the pink wall.

一段风流，佳人二八年；四目相窥，才郎三坠鞭。
Yī duàn fēngliú jiārén èrbā nián; sì mù xiāng kū cáiláng sān zhuì biān.
A romantic encounter a beauty of twenty-eight years; their eyes met and the young man's whip fell three times.

心坚石也穿，如鱼似水效鹣鹣。
Xīn jiān shí yě chuān rú yú sì shuǐ xiào jiān jiān.
With a steadfast heart even stones can be pierced; they were like fish in water like a pair of mandarin ducks.

郎君梦撒毡，鸨儿苦爱钱。
Láng jūn mèng sā zhān bǎo ér kǔ ài qián.
The young man dreams of spreading felt while the madam of the brothel loves money bitterly.

瓦罐爻槌，凄凉受了万千；夜宿卑田，则为李亚仙。
Wǎ guàn yáo chuí qīliáng shòu le wàn qiān; yè sù bēi tián zé wèi Lǐ Yǎxiān.
