原文： 家家望秋月，不及秋山望。山中万境长寂寥，
夜夜孤明我山上。海人皆言生海东，山人自谓出山中。
忧虞欢乐皆占月，月本无心同不同。自从有月山不改，
古人望尽今人在。不知万世今夜时，孤月将□谁更待。

译文及注释：
家家望秋月，不及秋山望。
Every household gazes at the autumn moon but it cannot compare to gazing at the autumn mountains.

山中万境长寂寥，夜夜孤明我山上。
Within the mountains countless landscapes remain silent and desolate every night only my mountain is illuminated.

海人皆言生海东，山人自谓出山中。
People from the coast all claim to be born in the east of the sea while mountain dwellers proudly proclaim to have emerged from within the mountains.

忧虞欢乐皆占月，月本无心同不同。
Both sorrow and joy are attributed to the moon but the moon itself is indifferent whether it is the same or different.

自从有月山不改，古人望尽今人在。
Since the moon has existed the mountains remain unchanged ancient people have gazed upon it and now modern people do the same.

不知万世今夜时，孤月将□谁更待。
Unaware of the passing of countless generations who will the solitary moon await tonight?
注释：
家家望秋月，不及秋山望：家家都能看到秋天的月亮，但是没有秋山的景色美丽。
山中万境长寂寥：山中的景色万千，但是长久以来都是寂寥无人。
夜夜孤明我山上：每个夜晚，只有我山上的月亮独自明亮。
海人皆言生海东，山人自谓出山中：海边的人都说他们生活在东海，而山中的人则自称是从山中出来的。
忧虞欢乐皆占月，月本无心同不同：无论是忧愁还是欢乐，都会占据月亮，但是月亮本身并没有感情，无论是同样的还是不同的。
自从有月山不改，古人望尽今人在：自从有了月亮以来，山的景色没有改变，古人望尽了，今人仍然在望。
不知万世今夜时，孤月将□谁更待：不知道万世之后的今夜，孤月将会等待着谁。

皎然简介： 皎然，唐代诗僧，字清昼，俗姓谢，出生于吴兴（浙江省湖州市），是南朝谢灵运十世孙，活动于大历、贞元年间，有诗名。他的《诗式》为当时诗格一类作品中较有价值的一部，诗风清丽闲淡，多为赠答送别、山水游赏之作，受到当时读者的欢迎。
